Grass Football Pitches

Is your football team looking for a well-maintained, award-winning grass football pitch for the season with additional facilities?

Look no further, Yeovil Rec has 3x full size adult pitches (U13 +), 1x 9v9 junior football pitch (U10 - U12), 1x 7v7 junior football pitch (U8-U9), and 2 x 5v5 (U7/small-sided tournaments) junior football pitch, available as well as training grids for training sessions with 7a-side goals.

Our football season begins in mid-August and runs through to the end of May, with bookings available for both Saturday and Sunday fixtures along with mid-week bookings for local colleges and schools. 

As part of your pitch hire we provide the corner flags and goal nets along with access to the Jon O'Donnell Pavilion where it has numerous teams, official and disabled changing rooms with showers.

                                             In November 2022, as recognition for their outstanding work in maintaining and providing high                                                        quality sports pitches to the general public, our grounds team were awarded Best Environmental                                              and Sustainability Award at the Grounds Management Association ceremony, and we hope to                                                       continue in delivering such a high standard of grass pitches for as long as possible. 

                                             In November 2023 our grounds team once again excelled themselves and won the Best                                                              Community Grounds team of the year award at the Grounds Management Association ceremony,                                                another hugely impressive achievement by our team and who we are very proud to have work on                                                  our site.
